16/1 TO CONSIDER PASSING A RESOLUTION EXCLUDING THE PRESS AND PUBLIC FROM THE MEETING DURING CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS OF BUSINESS ON THE GROUNDS THAT IF PRESENT THERE WOULD BE DISCLOSURE OF EXEMPT INFORMATION FALLING WITHIN PARAGRAPHS 1 AND 3 OF SCHEDULE 12A OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT.

That the decision to exclude all members of the press and public was agreed.

16/2 SUGGESTED RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENT, PROPERTY AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES.

In line with the officer employment procedure rules the Chief Officer Appointments Committee was charged with undertaking the process for recruiting to the post of Assistant Director of Environment, Property and Commercial Services..

 

The recruitment process was to consist of:

  • Individual Interviews and Presentations.
16/3 TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENT, PROPERTY AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES.

All applications received were forwarded to the Appointments Committee after the closing date which was 12 noon 27 May 2016.

 

The committee considered applications for the post of the Assistant Director, Environment, Property and Commercial Services, and discussed the selection arrangements.


 

16/4 SUGGESTIONS FOR QUESTIONS.

The interview questions were tabled. The Committee discussed the questions and the possible supplementary questions and the final list was agreed.
 

16/5 SUGGESTIONS FOR PRESENTATION TOPIC.

The Committee agreed a specific topic for the presentation and agreed that the presentations would last 10 minutes.
