ItemDescription

PUBLIC
1. Apologies for Absence
2. Declarations of Interest
3. Extraordinary Council Meeting

A letter was received from five Members of the Council requesting that an Extraordinary Council meeting be arranged. The nature of the business to be transacted is:

The proposed Snow Centre, Middlehaven

"We wish to debate the above scheme which has been approved by the Executive of Middlesbrough Council. The proposal has received considerable investment from Middlesbrough Council but has yet to demonstrate any form of viability or sustainability.

Middlesbrough Council has engaged with a company that has no trading history, no capital and no experience in this sector.

We would welcome any positive scheme which benefits the town however this has all the hallmarks of failure and with considerable risk to the taypayers of this town"
